Administrivia: About those typos in posts
By the way, I am aware of typos and autospelling errors that creep
into some of these posts. At this stage of the game, I am attempting
to get issues out to the list as rapidly as possible, and the pipeline
involved (including multiple lists and Mastodon) is complex enough
that editing typos with these "not as young as they once were" fingers
can be surprisingly time consuming. So if it appears that the errors
are such that the correct spelling will be obvious, I usually now just
let them pass. If there's a more complex error, I'll send out a
correction, usually within minutes. That's about all I can do right
now under these circumstances.
