I don't know if this is a bug report or a feature request: Images that were scanned into the library disappear when the network/ removable mount is not available.
At first that sounds obvious, if the mount isn't available, then the pictures obviously are not either. Heres the problem: When the mount becomes available again, picasa has to do the work of rscanning all the images. I have my photo collection on a NAS at home, as well as a handful of images on my laptop. Any time I want to view my laptop photos while away from my home network, my home photo collection get trashed. Can picasa please just recognize that images are not available without completely removing them from the library? Maybe prompt me when it finds missing files, asking if I want to keep them in my library until the next time I run picasa? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
