Yes it's a real PITA isn't it? There are lots of previous comments on
this if you look back in the forum. It's a common feature request!
Seems the best solution is to write a script that will only launch
Picasa if the NAS is available. Otherwise I think you also lose album
info as well as having to re-scan.
