Hi folks,
I've been trying to add IPTC captions programmatically to images,
in a way that Picasa will recognize them. I've tried adding captions
with exiv2, exiftool, and the perl Image::IPTCInfo module. All of
these work fine by themselves, and each sees the other's (and
Picasa's) captions, but Picasa can't see captions created by any of
the mechanisms. What's the secret to getting Picasa to see IPTC
captions created by other tools?
