well, in my kubuntu 9.10 i can use win picasa version (3.5) via wine ... and it works almost perfectly (the only problem is with "places", when i check that tab, everything become freezed, and i have to manually edit the file user.reg to be able to use picasa again). i use picasa to manage my online album and every album on my lap (some thousands pics) and it works really well.
