Patrick, the version of Picasa 3.6 I downloaded was the standard version for Windows ; why the version name changes to «... for Linux» *after* installation in Wine I cannot say. Note that the version of Wine I'm running is «1.0.1-0ubuntu8», not the updated «1.1.31-0ubuntu3». I'm far from certain that this is relevant, but which Wine version are you running ?...
