This is great news. I haven't looked at this for a while, but earlier it was my understanding that there were still a few things that only worked under MS Windows. Mostly I am interested in videos and geotagging. Do I need to tweak anything to make that work? I use Ubuntu 10.04, will it work there or do I need Mint 7? I love Picasa and it would be awesome with a full featured version working on linux, so please post any instructions.

I beg to differ, I use Picasa with Mint 7 ,Gnome ,and it does
everything for me like when I had it in Windows. Ammiditly, I think
Picasa 2 was better.
