Mint 7 is two versions behind the current Mint. There are many important upgrades and advancements in Mints 8 and 9. I quit using Picasa (I loved it) when I installed 3.6 and after use realized features didn't work and the Google enhancements broke. I am pissed that Google has abandoned consumer Linux. They had a chance to give Microsoft a challenge and worldwide consumers a choice, but the Wall Street boys have their tails between their legs if the stock price wobbles. I've been very pro-google since it was started, now they are starting to behave like AT&T and Verizon. Don't forget their deal with Verizon that runs counter to net neutrality. USA is running last place in consumer internet, and communications. The reason is we have AT&T, Verizon and now Google who feel they must control everything, limit technology to make larger profits. Picasa was a flagship application on Linux, Wall Street sunk that ship. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google-Labs-Picasa-for-Linux" group.
