Hi Pamela, Yes ... the UI needs a little help. It's a challenge to design such a flexible tool. Right now if you click on the search button again it closes (it's supposed to be a toggle button).
Almost all of the data comes from the San Francisco government. The district outlines (in SHP format) are from the GIS department.
