Thanks workisreligion. I actually know the problem you describe, the
code I wrote in my precedent post was a simplification. Currently,
this is exactly what I do :
MyPanes.MY_SPECIFIC_PANE_ID = IPaneManager.createPane
(IPaneManager.paneCount).id;
Doing like this, I don't have the ID problem you describe.
Finally, sine the getDefaultPane method is not called at all, I use it
as you suggest :
public function getDefaultPane(map:IMap):IPane
{
return IPaneManager.getPaneById(MyPanes.MY_SPECIFIC_PANE_ID);
}
I hope Pamela will find what the problem is even if my problem is
temporarily solved.
