Hi. I'm not sure if this question is appropriate to this group but here goes....
I've created a set of points in kmz format using ArcGIS. When I view the data in Google Earth, it registers properly with the map. But when I view the data in Google Maps (via my API website), the data is registered properly when I'm zoomed way in close, but not when I'm zoomed out. For example, when I'm zoomed out, points that are actually located on the Yucatan Peninsula appear to be almost in New Orleans. I've experimented with changing the projection of the source data prior to exporting with ArcGIS, but this seems to have no effect.
