Hey Seems like there has been a few issues with this problem, and doesn't seem like there has been a solution.
Details: OS: Windows 7 Platform: Flash AIR Debugger: Flash Builder 4 Flex SDK Version: 4.1 Air SDK Version: 2.5 Google Maps API: map_flex_1_18.swc Problem: Initialisation delay, takes about 10 seconds for the AIR application to start up. The AIR application freezes and is not accessible during this initialisation phase, due to Google Maps component. The AIR application is NOT causing the problem, as I have built many AIR applications and have never seen this problem, it is only when Google Maps is integrated into the application. My Application: Following the example provided from Google http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/flash/tutorial-flexbuilder.html#AIRDevelopment this also has this problem, such a simple application cannot have such a long initialisation time. So can someone please help me solve this issue, and fix this problem once and for all.
