A long shot, but you have checked the event type of your click event? Are you using a Google Maps Flash API App in a Android 2.x device with a flash player right? I dont ever tried this myself, but i think the event wont be MapMouseEvent, but something different...
And how you get the idstring and typeString in the listener of the MapMouseEvent.CLICK?
