After working as a cartographer using ESRI products and adobe CS, I began working with AS3 to create interactive maps. Using the Flash API for google maps I became more competent with AS3 and had learned many methods for incorporating spatial datasets into my Google powered maps (KML, GroundOverlay, etc).
I am not a programmer. I would like to stay currrent and continue creating interactive maps using the Google API. Can someone suggest a learning flow for keeping proficient and learning the Javascript API? Do I just start learning Javascript or do I need to know HTML? I have some time to devote to learning new things so any suggestions would be appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API For Flash" group.
