hi,

Question #1:
I'd like to use GGeoxml for adding polygons but need it to always
return tiles for performance reasons. I have about 200 polygons which
seems to be too many for IE to draw via vml. I've done the searching
and have found nothing to indicate that there's a way to ensure
GGeoxml will return tiles.

As a work around I want to create my own tile layer and add it -- the
catch is that I am using the tiles generated by http://maps.google.com/mapsdt.

For an example see:
http://campusmaps.goodbitz.com/map2.htm

I was not sure if this was acceptable?? I have seen some others having
similar questions on maps.google.com/mapsdt but have not seen a
definitive answer yet on if the terms of service prohibit this.

Question #2:
This is a minor issue using GGeoxml and IE8 beta2. The
GTileLayerOverlay does not get dragged when hidden from view and the
map is dragged. When the GTileLayerOverlay is shown again, it appears
in the wrong location.

To view this issue, do the following:
* open IE 8 beta2
* go to http://campusmaps.goodbitz.com/map2.htm
* click the toggle link just below the map to hide the
GTileLayerOverlay
* drag the map a little bit, and then toggle the tiles back into view.
The tiles do not get dragged with the map while hidden.

I realize that many will not have IE8 beta2 installed, but there may
be one or two people out there.

Thanks,
Joe
