the following row causes the message: $xml =
simplexml_load_file($request_url) or die("url not loading"); .
The entire code is like the original code in the "Geocoding Addresses
with PHP/MySQL" tutorial (with the exception of my api key). It can be
seen here
http://gmaps-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/articles-phpsqlgeocode/phpsqlgeocode_xml.php.
The script works fine with the original addresses from the tutorial,
but not with my german addresses. So I think it's no access problem,
because it's not with the american addresses.
And to avoid misunderstandings: The mentioned modified script doesn't
cause the error message.
