Hello, can you help me understand the Ts&Cs of Google Maps?

Google Maps provides code to embed a map in a web page - inside an
iframe.

Can I use this code on an intrAnet page at my company?

I have read the Ts&Cs at: http://www.google.com/intl/en_uk/help/terms_maps.html

and I note this line:

"For business users, Google Maps is made available for your internal
use only and may not be commercially redistributed, except that map
data may be accessed and displayed by using the Google Maps API
pursuant to the API terms and conditions."

That sounds good to me, except I don't want to use an API, I just want
to use the code that Google offer on every map page (the 'embed' /
iframe code).

I have consulted a legal expert and they say that Google imagery is
copyright and I must not 'reproduce' it - but the legal expert doesn't
understand that I'm *not* reproducing anything - I'm embedding Google
content on our internal intranet.

Can you help me understand how best to use Google Maps on our company
intranet?
