Taking that out definitely makes the marker show up.  Wow - can't
believe I didn't see that.

However, I took that link directly from the properties box for the
image in Fire Fox.  In my Gmail, I right clicked on the image -->
properties.

Maybe Outlook is able to ignore those extra characters and the browser
isn't?
