has some relevance. You could get the route and use Mike's
getPointsAtDistance() method http://econym.org.uk/gmap/epoly.htm to
follow it; but you still need to find whether the city is a "major"
city -- Geonames.org might help there possibly -- and it probably
won't help with every eventuality.
