Hi all, I've been working on a map for a few days and initially found I needed to move from GeoRSS to KML so that I could use custom images. Now that I've got the basics starting to come together I look ahead to how I will display my 40,000+ markers through clustering or other options and now I find that most threads say you can't do it in KML.
So I'm here to asking how should I have this setup? I have a lot of marker data coming from my MSSQL Sever as mentioned and I need to display several different kinds of pins based on the attributes in the DB. I have written a page to pull from the DB and create what every KML/XML structure I need. This data will need to be updated regularly in a live environment. Going forward I'd love to do some more complicated things like letting the user select search bounds by drawing polygons/polyshapes etc. but at this point in time I'm not sure how I should be organizing and presenting my data to the Map control. My current sample can be found @ http://www.hoctordesign.com/map2.htm Thanks, Denis --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
