It took a couple of years before the support for version 1 MAP_TYPE was (apparently accidentally) removed. When will the addition of 'sensor=true/false' to the API loading become mandatory?
I only noticed it from a response by pamela in another thread and from there noticed it had become a 'new' item in the API Documentation Home Page - not somewhere I usually browse nowadays, though it looks like I possibly should! I have already gone through a search and replace on my site, but many other developers could probably miss this addition to the requirements until suddenly being met with the 'map don't work' situation currently being faced by all those people who built maps under v 1 and have not had to revisit their pages since. Maybe I have missed an announcement. If so, others will also have missed it. Hopefully this specific discussion item may reach a few more people. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
