Yes, John, I already watched both, video and presentation a couple of days ago (and enjoyed it, really :)) You have been very specific in the the range of Linux-Perl-PostGIS. Do you know about something similar like shp2pqsql for SQL Server 2008? As you surely know, SQL Server 2008 supports the geometry/geographic datatype. I need a script, producing strings like POLYGON((-12.908 47.825, -12.923 47.825, -12.923 47.120, -12.908 47.825)) using shapes as input.
