Have you installed a java VM?   Microsoft was forced to remove their
inbuilt JVM at some point after SP1 was released so you may not have
one installed unless you did so yourself - such as the one from Sun.
Does menu Tools Options Advanced list a checkbox for at least one
JVM?  If is turned off (unchecked)?
