I noticed the map data is different between the API and maps.google or MyMaps. Are we getting old data or what? I noticed an old post were people were guessing it has to do with licensing, but that doesn't make sense - why would some map services license to maps.google but not to the API? Will the API data ever catch up with the maps.google and if so what is the time lag? I don't mind starting my project using the API provided I will eventually have good data, but if the details remain limited, then maybe I should look into MyMaps.
