Barry and Larry have made two excellent suggestions.
The Google Ajax Feed API will be a very helpful tool to create the
Placemarker and Line annotated text I'm looking for (very similar to a
RSS blog feed, but without the author date, etc).

Now I am wondering how I get to the "dynamic" link that Larry talks
about, rather than exporting to a KLM.

Then perhaps I can use the dynamic link to the My Map placemarkers and
lines with the Google Ajax Feed API
to create the very thing I need!

I am going to do some more reading,
but thanks very much for these ideas,
Rick
