I'm trying to create a simple page that is a full page map. In IE 7 i'm just receiving a blank page, though the html is loading, you can see it if you view the page source. My code works in FireFox 3 and Chrome. The only way it works as it should in IE 7 is to remove the DocType. I ran my page through an HTML validator and everything checks out ok.
There is some very strange behavior that makes me think it's not an HTML validation issue though. I was able to get the page to show in IE with the DocType if I load my page in two different tabs. First I try loading in one tab and received a blank page. Then I open a second tab and try to load my page and received another blank page, but when I go back to the first tab the map now shows and the same for the second tab. This works every time. I want to say that this is a bug in IE and I will just leave out the DocType but I was just wondering if anyone had found the right size boot to convince it to work properly without just removing the DocType. Oh ya, my OS is XP sp3 http://joshrussoplaypen.appspot.com/ Josh --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
