Good day!

I'm new to this forum and I'm not sure if this is an easy question or
not, but I've looked around and cannot seem to find an answer.

We are looking to prevent users from specific countries from
registering to our site. But, still they can view our website.

We explored a lot of ways and decided to go with Google Map API
approach. We are planning to use 'google.loader.ClientLocation' object
to get the country code so that we can block users from specific
countries.

However, We are not sure that whether Google resolves every IP address
to its corresponding country. Also, we want to know the performance
hit to our application if we embed Google Map APIs into our
application (due to the response time of Google servers).

Please help in this regard.

Thanks,
Malli
