because there is no fucntion called 'getmessage'. The entire thing seems to be written for IE only, as many of the 204 errors shown by the validator, here: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fcheckoutmytrip.com%2Fdefault.aspx&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 ... are typical "IE only" things. (IE will allow tons of so called 'features', that are not in accordance with HTML standards.)
