Thank you both for your educated answers. The best strategy recommendation of geocodezip would require one to stay in near contact with pamela using this board. I doubt, that I will do that really that often as it seems to be required in future once I have successfully finished my projects because I'm not - as you all I guess - exclusively "in the maps". So if I don't watch this board and something significantly changes in v2, I'll be triggered by frustrated customers. Having this choice I would rather opt for an explicit version, like v=2.140. This seems to be a bit more reliable, although this too might lead me to a 2.145 in future :)
Isn't that something Google has to be _more_ concerned about? I mean "Beta" all the time isn't always fun. We currently appear that with the German Google Maps board changes. Sometimes I would be glad to have at least a minimum SLA, even if the stuff I'm using is for free. And a v2 has to be the same v2, as it was at development/testing time. If I'm willing to go for a risk, okay, than I'll choose v=2.x Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Google Maps API" group.
