Hi, Actually I did the similar things as you did. I installed google map for mobile for symbian OS on my nokia phone and used some IP sniffer tool to record the http request. I got the binary you referred ( I copied the beginning of the binary as below). I can see some characters are encoded in ASCII but I just can't figure out how to whole binary are encoded. What algorithm they use ? I am so interested to find it out, just for my own curiosity, no offense of google's TOS.
Since you have done the reverse engineering, can you share your experience on this ? how do you decode the string ? what kind of algorithm they used to encode the POST data and response data ? You said there are some sample in your blog. What is the url of your blog ?
