Here's a quick KML test : go to the regular Google Maps page, and
simply paste in the URL of your KML file.
Looks the same as in my browser.
I can get to it by pasting the URL
  http://lovebunnies.luckypro.biz/01_stuff/roman_holiday/viamargutta.kml
directly in my browser and viewing it as text. That does show up some
funny-looking blobs instead of newlines, but that may not be terminal.
Another test is to give your URL to a validator, like -
   
http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http%3A%2F%2Flovebunnies.luckypro.biz%2F01_stuff%2Froman_holiday%2Fviamargutta.kml
and it passes okay, with one warning.

I think your KML is doing what it's told ... are you sure you drew the
shapes in the same coordinate system (WGS84)?
