I start with mapplet first. API is my next step.

Do you mean that GDirections walking mode fails in mapplet?
I didn't receive an error. After putting the testing address, the load
function is completely skipped.
(no path, no marker, and no other stuffs)
but if I take off the {travelMode:G_TRAVEL_MODE_WALKING} part, the
code works fine...
