Ummm, errr, yes!  But this is really a bit different:  While my
earlier posting talked to a major swapout, here I'm talking to
accommodating a temporary outage.  Different problem, different kind
of solution I hope.

Like IIRC there's some kind of fixed, none-JS map capability, done a
while ago by the GMaps team.  Dunno enough about it right now to
know.  or, ... ?
