I think that my question is not formulated correctly then,
intercepting was obviously taken incorrectly. What I meant by
intercepting is that if you look at the standard google maps and
perform a search. You will have the search results on the left and the
map with the flags on the right. What I want is basically the same
thing but I want to intercept the results before they are displayed in
the column on the left and compare them with my data so I can change
the flags and when a flag is clicked I want to add custom data to the
info window that is displayed, not necessarily replace the whole
window. I want to utilize as much of the standard maps data and search
information as I can.
