Mike and Rossko, thanks for your help until now! Yes Mike, I'm using GDirections, but I think I'll abandon this to do something like FIAT Mobile Site of UK (like I discuss below).
Yes Rossko, I would like to draw driving directions. But I saw in the mobile site of FIAT in United Kingdon (mobile.fiat.co.uk) exactly what I would like to do (but, as you said, sure, without driving directions). It's the dealer locator. Dealer locator ( http://mobile.fiat.co.uk/dealer/1.aspx;jsessionid=UDcbvdNrLekG6vIi8vlg-w**) gives you the option of put postcode or town to search by a place to do test drive. The result gives you the options of that city (or a region near from the postcode). So, you click on one of them and you see a map with option zoom in and zoom out. There is another option to you click and download the map (this last looks like to be a static map). I didn't access the mobile site through a mobile phone, because my Mobile Network Operator seems to be blocking the access to mobile sites out of my country. I did it through my Firefox with wmlbrowser addon, but I think it's possible to be accessed through my celullar phone (that has a simple browser, not like a iPhone... which I think to be like a browser of desktops, is it?). So, how to develop something like this? Which are the techniques for show static maps using ASP.Net or PHP? Could you give me some example or told me where could I find it? Which functions of the GMaps API should be used into server-side scripts? Please, any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
