No: IE6 doesn't care about such niceties! I'm rather afraid I did something this afternoon (while using Firefox) which upset IE, but I have no idea what it was. I can say that it's the map section which is involved though, and no other part of the page. The map is contained in the second <div class="TabbedPanelsContent" style="padding:8px;"> The only thing I can think of is that the loader script isn't being allowed to do its document.write() in the right place, but I can't work out what's preventing that.
