As always , thanks for the response, as each has it's value Your cited link may have some relevance but I did suspend my object prototyping which I use for but minor debugging tools.
The cited reference could probably itself be addressed in the Google code by using a pseudo representation of the expected target(s) as in a for(i in pseudoobject)if(typeof thetarget[i]!='undefined')whatever While I'm trying for the sake of googlemaps to not use the prototype aspect of the javascript language, it is part of the real world they serve Still , even in trying to avoid that pit fall , I'm still not able to decern what the issue really is and am still faced with an error reported as being born of the googlemap scripting. Any further ideas would be greatly appreciated.
