It's worth highlighting that the OS still maintain their general position on "derived data" - say a position is generated by a click on the map, that is data "derived from" the OS who claim ownership. In itself, thats the same as their stance if you read a location off of their paper maps. They do clarify that you are licenced to use such 'derived data' within your web application. That would exclude, say, exporting KML to someone else or to their GPS unit.
