I have an application with lots of addresses, and I use the google maps geocoding service to process the addresses to generate lat/ long. Then I map using the lat/long when the user requests one of those pages.
The problem is that the lat/long from google maps geocoding is different from the address that google maps gives for the same address. The geocoded one is wrong by about 5 blocks (on the same street). The URL of the incorrect map is: http://tixsa.giantbyte.com/boxofficehours/ The correct map direct from google is: http://tinyurl.com/n8dgf7 The question is why these might be different and what can be done about it? Lat/long that is 5 blocks off in a city is worse than useless.
