You seemed to be suggesting to use in conjuction with the Google API

pretty explicit....

(but careful with 1.4 too)

It could also be argued its not within the 'spirit' of the terms
either. basically it boils down to, if Google where allowed to have
third party developers geocode UK postcodes then they would simply
enable it in the Maps API geocoder (they have the data, its a policy
decision not to allow it). Using a different API to get round that
restriction is just 'wrong'.

Not by the Royal Mail it isn't.

And as responsible users we should activily work to stay within the
restrictions, otherwise a very useful facility (for centering during a
'search' session) could and will be withdrawn.


(I not saying I agree with the situation, but its what we have)
