Hello,

I am trying to use the map sidebar to show/hide two polygon overlays
using checkboxes, just like marker categories can be lumped together
and toggled. I've been browsing through various threads that seem to
be working towards a similar goal but without much luck. This thread
was particularly interesting:

http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Maps-API/browse_thread/thread/7b35dd504bb1dbb/a110025e5efcb8f0?lnk=gst&q=polygon+category#

but the since the OP's example is no longer viewable online, I'm not
understanding some of the advice and how to fit it into my map. I'll
admit up front that I'm the kind of guy who grabs a bunch of functions
from a bunch of different maps and tries to cram them all together...
but even so, any help would be appreciated.
