ah, this way "not a replacement" :)) thanks for clarification! :) so I have to follow with V2, and I have two options about sprites: 1) to write my own overlay 2) to use this "hidden" feature of V2 as it is (with img instead of sprite via css).
second option is not that bad for me, the only questions for now: will be sprites added to documented features of V2 with time? Is it good to start using them now or Google can change the appropriate API?
