Your boss should consider that temporarily putting a simplified version of your map on a public server will likely save valuable employee time, which equates quite directly to money. You don't have to put the whole thing up, just something that demonstrates your problem. You might spend weeks fiddling around trying to get the thing working, while the folks around here often provide solutions within a day. Thus, your project can possibly be finished sooner, which means it can start producing revenue sooner. It's a sound business plan! :D
