FWIW I have the same problem, it's highly intermittent but shows in google chrome and not just firefox/firebug so I think that might be a bit of a red herring in some cases. I can't provide a link right now as it is internal work in progress, but it is really annoying when it crops up. I was using api v2 but am now moving to api 3.s to see if that makes a difference for our case.
