This is another example that you will find VERY useful. The entire
example will give you everything you need to make this happen, but in
particular, the magic trick of finding stores in a radius is explained
under the heading 'Finding locations nearby with MySQL'. It should be
easy enough to change the query to work with parameters and in another
database.
