ok, i consulted someone about this, they mentioned using a "url
variable", would anybody be able to assist me in implementing this
into my current google maps API system? What were trying to do is.....

First, a page will appear (a flash map of the USA, Canada, and
Mexico). When u roll over a state, it will say how many branches are
in that particular state. From there, you will be able to click the
state. When the state is clicked, it will take you to a STATIC page
with a list of all the branches that are in that state or province.
Then, you will be able to click the name of the branch, and it will
take you here....

http://wesco.jp-clients.com/branch_locate/index.php

When you get to that page, it will display the branch you selected and
that branch ONLY.
This is the google maps API system that I have already set up. It's
running off of a database flawlessly as is. I need to find a way, to
pass a URL VARIABLE from the STATIC page to the page with my API
system on it to display the branch that the user selected. Does anyone
have any way that they know how to do this. I know it cant be too
difficult, but I'm not sure where to start. Any assistance at all
would be greatly appreciated. I would like to keep my API system
running off of its current db cuz its working fine, but the people
want these extremely unneccessary steps implemeneted and they are
making this 'branch locator' a very difficult process. once again any
help would be soooo greatly appreciated.
