I'ved used the custom gmarker from http://www.powerhut.co.uk/googlemaps/custom_markers.php and the initial marker for the set point displays perfectly.
When I click 'get directions' the original marker stays there and gmaps creates 2 markers, A and B in green. How can I change the look of these markers to look like my custom marker but still keep the A and B letters? Can I also remove the original marker before creating the other start and end ones?
