Hi, I'm having the same problem. The link to my code is http://eb1.cs.umbc.edu/fieldmarking/bloggerblitz/ Without resizing the map, click on "Get all Observations" button. This should show around 1020 markers
The code to display markers is at http://eb1.cs.umbc.edu/fieldmarking/bloggerblitz/spotter.js The function call is UpdateSpotterMarkers on line 85 of this file. I'v observed this problem with firefox version 3.*.* On Google chrome and Safari, it does take time to (get the records from the database and to) load the markers, but doesn't hang the browser. However on firefox, it shows me the message saying (A script may be busy.... and points to some main.js:<LINE NO>) Each time the LINE NO is different. If you click "don't show me the message again" box when the message appears, it will just hang firefox. This message even appears if I try to change the zoom level. Can anyone help ?
