My question is:
Does anyone know if its possible to currently find copies of all of the
google maps API javascript files in an unpacked/deobfuscated format?

In order to better understand & learn the google maps API (and also
Object-oriented javascript techniques), I'd like to be able to read &
analyze the google maps api javascript source code in a user-friendly
format...

If the source isn't currently available in such a format, I'd also like to
ask google employees if google would please consider releasing something
like this (preferably with comments embedded within the source code,,,
something like an SDK package for the api).

Although the examples & api documentation on google's site are pretty good,
they don't seem to cover some of the more technical details of the API code.
IMHO, its always helpful to be able to dive into the source code & see how
things work & tie together. This might also have the benefit of lowering the
amount of messages sent to the API mailing list, since users might find it
easier to resolve issues on their own by simply looking at the source code.

I don't see something like this being in violation of the TOS, since the
javascript source is not compiled & 'open' to clients anyway (except that
its in a format that makes it difficult to work with & understand).

Any thoughts/feedback?

Thanks,
P.R.
