Sorry in advance if this has already been addressed, but I cannot find it.
I have a number of shapefiles I need to express on my website, which uses GoogleMaps. I can successfully convert form .shp to .kml, but I now need to convert the kml into the strings of letters that I get from handplotting with the Interactive Polyline Encoding Utility (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/ polylineutility.html) because this is how my website is set up. Does anyone know how to make the leap between KML and the polyline code??
